POV: your backyard just turned into a luxury resort ☀️💦 The Sloosh tanning pool

I posted this video back in early May when the weather first hinted at being warm enough to sit outside without a cardigan. The clip shows a slow-motion water splash hitting a massive bright pink inflatable tanning pool. It ends with a shot of me actually lying in the water with a book. I was trying to capture that elusive moment of afternoon peace we all desperately want.

My completely honest verdict on the Sloosh pool is that it is basically a glorified plastic puddle for adults. I actually mean that as a high compliment. You just inflate the main ring and fill the base with a few inches of cold hose water. It takes about three minutes with a standard electric pump. The one thing you cannot prepare for is the ridiculous squeaking sound your wet skin makes against the plastic when you try to shift your weight. You have to physically peel your legs off the bottom like a sticky fruit snack.

This video only pulled in about four hundred views, though the engagement rate sat at a respectable five percent. My guess is the algorithm buried it because the opening pacing was a bit sluggish. The people who did stick around really liked the slow motion splash effect on the pink vinyl. The comments were mostly from other moms asking how hard it is to drain or if a golden retriever could accidentally puncture it. It ended up being a really practical way to read a paperback outside without sweating entirely through your shirt.
