I start this video by practically throwing my foot at the camera. I bend down and yank off the suede Wetkiss cowgirl boot I am wearing. Then I hold it right up to the lens. I wanted people to see the actual thread count on the embroidery before they scrolled away.

Cheap suede boots usually feel like cardboard covered in peach fuzz. These are surprisingly decent. The chunky heel gives you enough balance to walk across a wet parking lot without twisting an ankle. But the detail that actually sold me is the side zipper. It stops exactly two inches above the ankle bone. That means you get a fitted look at the bottom but you can still slide your calf in without wrestling the material.

The engagement on this video was pretty dismal. We only hit about 280 views. I suspect posting a suede knee-high boot right at the end of September was a timing error. People are still sweating in their denim shorts. Nobody is ready to think about heavy fall footwear yet. Even with the dramatic close-up of the stitching, the algorithm decided it was a miss. That is fine by me. I still wear these to the grocery store and to my morning carpool shifts.
