I start this video right up in the camera lens telling everyone to stop buying boring shirts. Then I step back and do a little shimmy to show off a cropped fringe sweater vest. You can see the tassels moving as I talk, which was really the whole point of filming this one. The texture needs to be seen in motion.

My honest verdict is that this is a genuinely fun piece of clothing. It gives off a very specific art teacher on vacation vibe. The knit is surprisingly lightweight. The mock neck also sits at a comfortable height instead of strangling you.

One thing I immediately noticed is how the tassels are constructed. They are tightly bound at the top. Cheap fringe usually sheds like a golden retriever in June, but these strands do not instantly unravel after one trip through the delicate cycle. The seams are actually finished properly on the inside.

Almost nobody watched this video when I posted it. It barely scraped past fifty views with terrible engagement. I am blaming the late September posting date. People are usually hunting for thick cardigans or heavy denim by then, so a sleeveless knit top just confused the algorithm. It completely flopped with my regular viewers. If you live in a warmer climate or just run hot, it is still a really solid layering piece.
