Bow Detail Knit Pullover - Long Sleeve, V-Neck, Cropped Cut, Loose Fit, Cozy Lightweight

Let's talk about the sweater video that absolutely nobody watched. I got a grand total of zero comments on this one. I started the video with my face right in the lens and told my viewers that the bows are the sweater. In hindsight, that is a terrible hook. People scrolling while waiting in the school pickup line need an actual reason to stop. I did manage to get some beautiful tight camera angles of the ribbed knitting and the little attached velvet bows.

The pullover itself is decent for a quick autumn transition piece. It has a boxy cut that hits right at the top of my high-rise jeans. My honest verdict is that it is cute but slightly impractical. The knit is lightweight and surprisingly soft against bare skin. I noticed immediately that the bows are barely tacked on with a single flimsy thread loop. If you have a toddler who likes to grab shiny things, those bows will be on the floor by lunchtime. I had to reinforce mine with some heavy thread before I even wore it out of the house.

I think the total lack of engagement came down to the timing and the missing value proposition. I posted this in mid-September when everyone is mentally preparing for heavy winter layers. A delicate cropped v-neck just did not resonate with the daily realities of motherhood. It is a sweet top for a quiet dinner out. It just isn't the reliable everyday sweater my audience usually expects me to find.
