Striped Cardigans - Long Full Sleeves, Open Front, balloon sleeve # @Ommig

I filmed this right at the beginning of September expecting everyone to be desperate for fall layers. The video is mostly me manhandling this Ommig striped sweater so you can see the actual weight of the knit. I stretch the front panels and turn around a few times to show off the drape.

The sweater is undeniably thick. It feels expensive and definitely keeps out a chill. But the reality is that those massive balloon sleeves are a complete hazard for normal life. They look fantastic when you are standing still for a video. The minute you try to reach across the kitchen island or turn on the faucet, you are dragging a heavy knit sleeve right through a puddle. I spent the entire morning aggressively pushing the cuffs up past my elbows just to function.

My audience gave this one a hard pass. Hitting barely eight hundred views is a very polite way of telling me you already own enough striped outerwear. The engagement was basically nonexistent. The few comments I did get were entirely focused on whether the fabric pilled after a wash. It holds up fine in the laundry, but I completely understand why you scrolled past. We are all officially fatigued by the oversized sleeve trend.
