Comfy cardigan! Super soft, drop shoulder!
Editor's notes
Let's talk about why posting a chunky fall sweater in the dead of July is a lesson in retail timing. I filmed this cardigan review when the early sales hit, but understandably, nobody was in the mood to think about knitwear. The video barely scraped past a hundred views. That said, the people who did stick around were highly engaged because the sweater itself is actually surprisingly good.
The relaxed fit on this is exactly what you want when you are tired but still need to look vaguely put together for school drop-off. The drop shoulder design is incredibly flattering on camera. It avoids that bulky linebacker look you sometimes get with oversized knits. My honest verdict is that it feels expensive and holds up to real wear.
The one detail that sold me completely is the tension in the sleeve cuffs. You can push them up to your elbows to wash dishes or scrub markers off a table, and they do not stretch out and slide right back down your forearms. It is a tiny thing that completely ruins a sweater for me if it is wrong.
Looking back at the analytics, the low view count was not just the summer heat. I made the classic mistake of leading with a boring shot of the fabric instead of showing my face and giving a real hook. If you do not give people a reason to care in the very first second, they keep scrolling. Lesson learned for next fall.
