Cute striped matching pant set. Stretch waist, pockets, cropped pants.

I have to laugh at the stats on this one. Exactly five people watched this video when I posted it in July. Two of those people liked it. I consider that a major win for the two moms who desperately needed a comfortable outfit. In the video I am modeling a striped matching pant set. I show you exactly how much give the waistband has and I zoom in on the fabric. My mistake was starting the video by narrating the specs of an elastic waistband. People do not stop scrolling for elastic.

The set itself is actually fantastic. It feels like wearing pajamas in public but you look completely pulled together. The cropped length is perfect if you are under five foot six. If you are taller, they will hit you at a very awkward spot on the calf. My absolute favorite detail is the pocket depth. They are deep enough to completely hide my giant phone. It never tips out when I sit down in the car.

The few people who stuck around really appreciated the close-ups of the stripe pattern. I made sure to show that the stripes perfectly match up at the side seams. That is my ultimate test for decent clothing construction. If the stripes are disjointed at the hip, the entire outfit looks poorly made. Next time I will just start the video by showing off those perfect seams instead of lecturing about stretchy waists.
