The Halara active dress that checks all the boxes! Built in shorts and bra, easy peasy bathroom access.

Editor's notes

Let's be honest about the active dress trend. By mid-summer, everyone has seen a million of them. That probably explains why this video absolutely tanked with my audience. It barely scraped 800 views, and less than one percent of people even bothered to engage with it. I suspect my followers were just completely fatigued by athletic wear reviews by July.

But the dress itself is genuinely brilliant for a very specific logistical reason. In the video, I start by spinning around and immediately lifting the skirt to show the hidden shorts. You have to prove the functionality right away with these things. The major selling point is the bathroom access. If you have ever worn a standard exercise dress, you know the absolute panic of having to basically strip down to your ankles in a tight public restroom stall just to pee.

This piece solves that problem completely. There is a hidden overlapping slit in the shorts that lets you pull them down in the back while keeping the top half of the dress perfectly in place. It feels a tiny bit like wearing a toddler's drop-seat pajama suit the first time you try it. You get over the weirdness immediately once you realize how practical it is. The one detail I was most impressed by is the slight tension on the inner thigh of the shorts. They stay firmly anchored when you walk. They never roll up into an annoying bunch under the skirt, which is usually my biggest complaint with built-in bottoms.
