The perfect wide leg overalls with pleats!

I posted this video right after coming back from the playground because three different moms stopped to ask me about what I was wearing. The video is just me in my kitchen talking straight to the camera about these pleated overalls. My honest verdict is that they are genuinely fantastic. Usually overalls make me feel like a toddler or a mechanic. The pleats are the secret ingredient here. They sit just below the natural waistline. That means when you sit down on a tiny preschool chair, you don't get that weird stiff ballooning of denim around your middle.

One thing you can't fully see in the clip is the hardware on the straps. They used these heavy matte brass sliders that actually stay put. You aren't constantly yanking them up every time you bend over to pick up a stray shoe. It is a tiny detail but it really matters when you are moving around all day.

As for the video itself, it totally tanked. I got roughly three hundred views and very little interaction. I started out with my face right in the frame and a strong hook about getting stopped in real life. That opening usually works beautifully for grabbing attention. The problem was I completely forgot to add text overlays. If you were scrolling with your phone on silent while waiting in the carpool line, there was absolutely zero reason to stop and figure out what I was talking about. Lesson learned for next time.
