I bought the budget version of that extremely popular ribbed one-piece everyone was wearing this summer. I wanted to see if it actually held up or if it was just cheap synthetic nonsense. My honest verdict is that it is surprisingly decent. The material has actual weight to it. It does not become completely sheer the second you step into the sunlight.

In the clip I step right up to the lens to stretch the pockets and fiddle with the shoulder sliders. That physical stress test is the only way you can tell if an affordable garment is going to survive the washing machine. The metal hardware on this piece actually grips the fabric. It stays exactly where you set it instead of sliding down your back by lunchtime. You can really see the true thickness of the knit when I pull hard on those pocket seams.
