The honest truth is that this top is incredibly cute but completely impractical for a hot July afternoon. The material is a heavy cotton blend. I noticed right away that the armholes are cut surprisingly low, which means your base layer is going to show whether you want it to or not. It looks fantastic for a heavily air-conditioned dinner indoors. It is definitely not what you want to wear for a sweltering walk around the neighborhood.

My audience totally ignored this upload. We barely scraped four hundred views and the engagement was abysmal. I think the timing was just totally off. I posted this right in the middle of a massive heatwave when absolutely nobody wanted to think about thick knitted fabrics. Even with a snappy verbal hook at the start, people were probably scrolling past looking for breathable linen or maybe just a cold drink. Sometimes as a creator, you just have to look at the weather report before you hit publish.
