Editor's notes
Let's talk about this particular video because it is a perfect example of knowing your audience. You land on this page and immediately see my face pressed right up against a neon green magnetic toy car. I was genuinely trying to share a helpful find for the middle of July when everyone is losing their minds trying to entertain small children.
The honest verdict on these budget magnetic blocks is that they are completely adequate. They click together easily. They keep little hands busy for at least an hour. The magnets are definitely weaker than the pricey name brand versions. Your kids will not be building towering skyscrapers here. I actually noticed the tiny metal rivets on the wheel attachments will rust instantly if they get left out in the sprinkler. You definitely need to keep these strictly in the living room.
You guys did not care about this post at all. The engagement was barely a blip. It makes total sense in hindsight. You come to my page for outfit ideas and maybe some honest beauty reviews. A random discount on plastic toddler toys just felt completely out of left field. The visual hook of me holding a toy car was the wrong move for a fashion crowd. Next time I want to share a kid thing, I will probably just mention it at the end of a clothing haul instead of dedicating a whole video to it.
