I started this video with my face practically pressed against the camera lens asking where my moms were. I followed that up by aggressively stretching the waistband of this Pinspark skort to prove it actually holds you in. I even flipped the hem up to show the built-in shorts so nobody had to worry about thigh chafing. You would think that level of physical product testing would work. It did not. The video completely tanked and got zero views. The algorithm decided to humble me that day.
The funny part is that the skort itself is genuinely excellent. I bought it because I wanted something for chasing my kids at the park without flashing the neighborhood. The tummy control waistband actually sits flat instead of rolling down into a sad little inner tube the second you sit down. I noticed a detail the brand barely mentions. The shorts underneath have this tiny silicone grip strip right on the hem. That means they stay anchored to your legs instead of riding up into places they do not belong.
I think the video flopped because my audience just wasn't looking for athletic wear in late June. By that point in the summer, we are usually settled into a uniform of old denim cutoffs, oversized shirts, swim coverups, or whatever lounge shorts are clean.
