Editor's notes
Here is a minor lesson in how not to hook an audience. I thought this video was going to hit perfectly before vacation season. I found this little plastic travel pill organizer that comes with an absurdly comprehensive booklet of sticker labels. The video shows me peeling tiny labels for ibuprofen and pressing them onto the compartments for a weekend away. The internet completely ignored it. We got a whopping four hundred views. I think I sounded a bit too much like an instruction manual at the very beginning instead of just talking to you about my own packing frustrations.
The actual case is genuinely helpful if you take more than a couple of things in the morning. I hate carrying rattling orange bottles through airport security or taking up half my carry-on with bulky vitamin jars. The stickers are the real reason I bought it. I noticed they included a pre-printed label for lactase enzymes right next to the basic pain relievers. Whoever designed this clearly understands the reality of eating vacation dairy.
The clasp on the main plastic shell takes a very firm thumb to pop open. If you have arthritis or poor grip strength, you might want to skip this one entirely. For everyone else, it keeps your daily prescriptions separated from your emergency meds without eating up suitcase space. Just remember to stick the labels on the outside of the little lids rather than the inside where the pill powder rubs against them. Let my minor peeling mistake save you ten minutes of scrubbing with a wet paper towel.
