Here is my actual verdict. The fabric is extremely thin. That is wonderful for surviving a humid beach trip but less ideal if you want something with structure. I do need to point out a tiny construction quirk that drives me crazy. The elastic waistband is only stitched at the side seams. If you pull the pants up too fast, the elastic folds over inside the casing. You will spend ten minutes pinching the fabric to straighten it out before you can actually leave your hotel room.
