Joining a community is the best thing you can do for yourself π«Άπ»
Editor's notes
If you stumbled onto this page looking for the secret to making mom friends, you probably already know how isolating the daily grind can be. This video is just me sitting on my porch steps talking about the CCA circle. I filmed it right after school drop-off. You can literally see the exact moment my caffeine kicked in because my hands start moving at light speed.
The truth is that most online communities are either totally overwhelming or full of people trying to secretly sell you things. The CCA group is actually different. It is just a solid space to ask weird questions about toddler behavior or vent about burnout without feeling judged. My honest verdict is that it takes a little bravery to introduce yourself the first time. Once you do it, you will breathe a huge sigh of relief.
My favorite detail in this clip is completely accidental. If you look over my left shoulder, there is a single blue dinosaur sock dangling off the porch railing. I have absolutely no idea how it got there.
Only about two hundred people watched this video. The ones who did stick around really talked to me in the comments. We hit an eleven percent engagement rate because moms are genuinely starved for connection. They wanted a real conversation instead of a pitch. My one critique from a teaching standpoint is that I started the clip by panning across my garden. If I had put my face on screen immediately with a clear text overlay, it probably would have reached more of the people who actually needed to hear it.
