This matching egg toy is one of my favorite educational toys for toddlers π₯β¨ Each egg comes apart so kids can match colors and shapes while building fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early problem-solving skills. Perfect for screen-free play, preschool learning, travel activities, and keeping little hands busy while they learn through play π€
Editor's notes
If you landed here searching for toddler activities that actually buy you enough time to drink a hot cup of coffee, you are in the right place. This video is just me demonstrating those popular pull-apart eggs in the yellow plastic carton. I will be totally honest with you. The toy itself is fantastic for keeping little hands busy. Kids crack them open to find different colors and peg shapes inside (like a blue star or a red square). They have to match the halves to put the egg back together. It takes a surprising amount of finger strength and patience.
The one thing nobody mentions about these is the noise. When a toddler inevitably decides to dump all twelve plastic eggs onto a hardwood floor at once, it sounds exactly like a bowling alley. As for this specific video, it completely flopped. Barely four hundred people watched it. Looking back, I know exactly why it tanked. I started the clip focused purely on the product instead of showing my face or sharing a relatable parenting struggle first. People scrolling on their phones need a human connection before they care about a plastic toy. The eggs are genuinely brilliant for fine motor practice, but next time I will definitely open the video with a human element to actually catch your attention.
