Mosquito repellent patches that actually make outdoor time easier ๐ฟ These DEET-f
Editor's notes
If you found this page while frantically searching for ways to keep mosquitoes off your toddler, welcome. Take a deep breath. This video from May 2026 is just me sitting on my back porch showing off a sheet of DEET free repellent stickers. The patches have these little cartoon lions and elephants on them. You stick them directly on your kid's clothes so you do not have to coat their actual skin in harsh sprays.
My honest verdict is that they work wonderfully for a regular evening in the backyard or a quick trip to the playground. They are probably not going to save you on a swampy camping trip. If you look closely at the video, you will notice I stuck a little giraffe patch right on the back of my daughter's collar. That is the strategic sweet spot. It keeps the strong citronella smell near her face to protect her ears but keeps it completely out of her line of sight so she forgets to peel it off.
This video barely scraped five hundred views when I originally posted it. The algorithm absolutely hated how slowly I started talking. The mothers who did stick around really engaged with it in the comments. We all share that same quiet guilt over dousing our children in chemicals every summer night. People loved the idea of a safe alternative, they liked the cute animal faces, they appreciated the lack of sticky residue, and they were relieved to skip the extra scrubbing before bed.
