POV: you finally found a way to keep your kids outside WITHOUT the mosquito bite

If you landed here from a late night search about mosquito control, welcome. Getting traditional repellent onto a wriggling toddler usually means inhaling an aerosol cloud while they scream about their eyes. This video shows my actual relief at finding these little mosquito repellent stickers. I fanned them out to the camera like a deck of playing cards so you could see the different animal shapes.

My honest verdict is that these patches work surprisingly well for everyday backyard play. You just stick them right onto a shirt collar or the back of some shorts. The detail I want to point out is how thick the adhesive backing is. They absolutely will not peel off if your kid decides to roll in the damp grass or crawl under the patio furniture. They do smell strongly of citronella. It is a bit intense when you first rip open the foil packet, but it fades into a pleasant outdoor scent after a few minutes.

This clip only saw around four hundred views when I originally posted it in early May. I suspect I was a month too early for peak mosquito season. The parents who did watch and engage were very happy to find an alternative to sticky chemical sprays, but the broader reach just was not there.
