Take me back 😭

The internet is full of perfectly curated Disney vacation montages. This video is not quite that. I threw together a handful of clips from our Hollywood Studios day right when the post vacation blues hit. You see us doing the typical stroller march past Tower of Terror during the blazing afternoon heat. Then it cuts to the fireworks show at night.

My honest verdict on taking small children to theme parks is that you will question your sanity constantly. Yet you will look at photos a week later and wish you were back in the chaos. If you watch closely during the daytime walking clip, you can spot the exact moment my youngest drops his giant Mickey pretzel onto the pavement. I kept that in because it captures the true essence of family travel. The pavement was so hot I think the dough instantly fused to the concrete.

This post did not blow up by any stretch of the imagination. It only pulled in a few hundred views. The opening shot was just us walking. People scrolling probably got bored before the good stuff happened. But the moms who did stick around really engaged with it. The comments were entirely from other parents sharing their own survival stories of hauling massive strollers onto the Skyliner. It felt like a small support group meeting. Next time we visit, I will make sure the first second of the video shows someone dropping a churro to hook the viewer faster.
