Let us gather around and discuss the reality of toddler sleep deprivation. In this video I am testing out a Tarte concealer stick that promised to hide the fact that my youngest was awake from two until four in the morning. I show my bare face right at the start. You can see the very stark contrast between my actual purple bags and the covered side within the first four seconds.

My honest verdict is that this little tube actually does the job well. It is opaque enough to cover the bluish tint but it somehow avoids settling into those fine lines right where the cheekbone starts. I have a persistent dry patch near my left tear duct that catches every liquid makeup product I have ever tried. This solid cream formula glided right over it. It just blurred the uneven texture away completely.

You would think a solid fast demonstration would pull in decent numbers. This one completely tanked with barely five hundred views. My working theory is that I pointed directly to the shop button on the screen. The app tends to bury your content when you are too obvious about wanting people to click a link. The few tired moms who did happen to find the video really appreciated the realistic application speed. We do not have time for setting powder or wielding damp sponges. We just need to swipe something solid on and tap it out with a warm finger before we run out the door.
