My cheekbones can look like that?!
Editor's notes
Welcome to the graveyard of videos the algorithm decided to bury. If you found this page from a random late-night Google search about Tarte contour wands, you are actually in luck. The video here is me doing a side-by-side comparison of my face with and without the product. I painted half my face with their liquid contour and left the other half completely bare. It is the most literal before and after you will ever see.
My honest verdict is that this stuff works incredibly well. As a tired mother who usually relies on concealer, seeing actual cheekbones appear on my face was a shock. The formula blends out in about ten seconds with a damp sponge. One thing you might miss in the video is how the contour shade pulls slightly cool-toned. It casts a shadow instead of making you look like you rubbed orange dirt on your cheeks. That ash undertone is exactly what makes it look like real bone structure.
You will notice this video barely scraped eight hundred views. My hook at the beginning was apparently too slow for the internet. The engagement was basically nonexistent because the people who did watch it just clicked right through to buy it without leaving a comment. That is completely fine by me. Sometimes a makeup tutorial is simply an instruction manual. Grab your contour wand and blend upward so you do not drag your face down. You can enjoy the illusion of a full eight hours of sleep.
