Comfort is the vibe this summer π
Editor's notes
I filmed this video testing out a ribbed knit two-piece outfit that had been following me around the internet for weeks. The promise was that it functioned as a reliable daily uniform. My honest verdict is that it actually works. The fabric is thick enough to hide weird underwear lines, and it drapes in a way that is incredibly kind to a postpartum stomach.
The one detail that sold me completely is the waistband construction. Most matching sets give you a flimsy elastic tube that immediately rolls over on itself the second you bend down to retrieve a dropped pacifier or scoop up a crying toddler. This one has a wide, flat front panel that stays exactly where you put it. You can squat down a dozen times and never have to yank your pants back into place.
Despite the outfit being genuinely great, this video totally tanked. It pulled in fewer than five hundred views. The engagement was barely there. Looking at the metrics, I know exactly what went wrong. My energy was high at the end, but the opening was just too slow. I took too long to get to the point. When you are talking to mothers who are operating on three hours of sleep and cold coffee, you have to hook them instantly. I gave an urgent call to action at the close, but nobody stuck around long enough to hear it. Next time I share clothes like this, I will start right with the waistband trick.
