Today years old when I found out this nifty little tid bit 🤯

Editor's notes

You know that little plastic insert that comes with every bottle of children's liquid medicine? For seven years I have been prying those out with my fingernails and tossing them straight into the trash. It turns out you are actually supposed to push them down firmly into the neck of the bottle. They are syringe adapters. I felt completely ridiculous filming this realization. My honest verdict is that this little trick actually saves my sanity at two in the morning. You just plug the syringe into the hole and draw the liquid right out without spilling a single drop.

If you watch closely at the end of the video, you will notice the permanent crusty ring of dried cherry ibuprofen on my kitchen counter. That sticky pink puddle used to be a daily reality in my house. The algorithm barely pushed this video out to anyone since it stalled at under five hundred views. The people who did see it were incredibly vocal though. The engagement rate was unusually high because we were all sharing the exact same parental embarrassment. We had all been making things unnecessarily hard on ourselves. Sometimes the most obvious solutions are just sitting right there in the cardboard packaging waiting for us to actually pay attention.
