On the go, mess free activity! This is a favorite in our house!
Editor's notes
If you found your way here from Google, you are probably desperately searching for something to keep your toddler occupied on an airplane or at a restaurant. I feel that in my bones. This video shows a magnetic puzzle book I bought for exactly that reason. You can see how it opens into three connected panels with pieces that physically stick to the pages.
My honest verdict is that it actually lives up to the promise of being completely clutter free. The magnetism is just strong enough that the pieces do not slide off when your kid inevitably tilts the book sideways. As a former teacher, the detail I appreciate most is the spine. The joints connecting the three panels are made of a thick reinforced vinyl. Cheap activity books always tear right at the hinges after a few trips in a diaper bag. This one has survived being repeatedly dropped and violently shoved into my overflowing tote bag.
Despite how genuinely useful it is, this video barely got nine hundred views on my feed. My followers usually engage more when I post chaotic parenting fails or funny toddler logic. A quiet demonstration of a functional puzzle folding itself up was just too boring for the fast-scrolling crowd. It lacked immediate drama. But the parents who did stick around to the very end noticed how neatly everything packs away into one flat square. It may not have gone viral, but it remains a purchase I never regret.
