I posted this little montage of my sister's rustic celebration back in March, and the video is basically a quick reel of us wearing cowboy boots with maternity dresses while feeding miniature donkeys in a fenced pasture. It is exactly as chaotic as it sounds. We hired a local company that brings small rescue farm animals right to your venue. The honest truth is that mixing livestock with a bunch of heavily pregnant women sounds like a massive liability, but it actually ended up being incredibly sweet.

If you look closely at the five-second mark, you can see that practically every guest is wearing some variation of the exact same outfit. We all just collectively decided that a denim jacket layered over a floral dress was the only acceptable farm uniform. My good suede shoes got completely ruined by the mud. It was entirely worth it. The true star of the clip is the very grumpy calf in the background who flatly refused to interact with anyone holding a mocktail.

This did not go viral by any stretch. We barely cracked four hundred views. The people who did see it were deeply invested though. Nearly twenty percent of the audience took the time to leave a comment or save the video for their own event planning. I think it worked because the visual editing is snappy, but the reality of trying to look stylish while a goat chews on your paper plate is just funny. It proves you can throw a highly coordinated outdoor party without taking yourselves too seriously.
