School lunch ideas!

If you landed here from a frantic late-night Google search about preschool lunches, take a deep breath. This video is just a quick look at how I pack a toddler meal using the Pottery Barn Kids bento box. I show my highly advanced method of using cookie cutters to make cheese quesadillas look like dinosaurs. I also throw in some pre-cut carrots and cucumber coins to make myself feel like a responsible adult.

The honest truth about that Pottery Barn container is that it holds up incredibly well to being repeatedly dropped on the driveway. It seals tightly enough to keep the cucumber juices away from the quesadilla crust. That alone justifies the cost for me. The little dinosaur shapes definitely get my kid to actually eat his lunch, but I will fully admit that hand-washing the tiny crevices of those cookie cutters is endlessly annoying.

If you look closely at the bottom left compartment in the video, you will notice a single rogue cereal puff stuck to the silicone seal. I completely missed it while packing. That is just the reality of morning prep in my house.

This clip barely got any views when I first posted it. The algorithm probably buried it for being too basic. But the parents who did watch it left a surprisingly high number of comments. They seemed to genuinely appreciate seeing a normal meal that didn't require an art degree to construct.
